Zeke Delights as Duke
Zeke the Border Collie stars as the title character in Hallmark Channel's latest original film "Duke". Zeke delights as the loyal sidekick of Terry, played by Steven Weber ("Wings"), a war veteran struggling with PTSD. The film drives home the power dogs can play in emotional and physical support for wounded veterans. Zeke's top notch performance even earned the accolades of his human co-stars.  "Duke" airs Apirl 28th on the Hallmark Channel. 

Kasey Is A Darling Dog
Kasey has the starring role as Freeway in Sony Classics' "Darling Companion" Out in theaters this week. In the film Kasey portrays Freeway, a stray dog taken in by Diane Keaton's character, when she finds Kasey on the side of the road. To the family's dismay the dog, now a beloved member of the family, goes missing while on a family vacation forcing them to launch a full force search party. Hollywood's Good Dog Animals trained Kasey for his film debut. Kasey is originally a rescue dog but is now a movie star! Kasey is currently busy promoting the film but remains hard a work on other potential projects including some commercial work. Way to go Kasey on all your success! 

Mr. Arthur Pickles
Meet Mr. Arthur Pickles, a one year old rescue. His owners provided a little background on his life so far. Mr. Arthur Pickles has one mission, to be a catalyst for happiness. He started his life roaming the tough streets of Los Angeles, where they note he brought companionship and warmth into the lives of those forgotten by society along the way. Mr. Arthur Pickles has since found a warm home, a loving family, and continues to bring happiness and humor into people’s lives.

Tyr is Sitting Pretty
Meet Tyr, a 2 year old Papillion. Her owner said she was enjoying the view in this picture while staying at the dog friendly Hotel Nine Zero in Boston.  

Charlotte
Meet Charlotte, a terrier mix rescue, taking a bark out of Hollywood in the short film, "A Dog's Day Afternoon," by Andrea Knoll & Lisa Marinaccio. Way to go Charlotte. Check out "A Dog's Day Afternoon" here.

Bubbercin
This is Bubbercin, an aspiring film star. She recently starred in her first short film "Pot Hound". Her celebrity crush is Uggie! We don't blame you Bubbercin, Uggie is one hot hound! 

Uggie
Uggie is our featured Dog of the Week.  It has been quite the year for this thespian pup! Starring in films like "Water for Elephants" and the "The Artist" have made this dog a stand out star! Uggie took home top prize, Best Dog in a Theatrical Film at Dog News Daily's first annual Golden Collar Awards! Beating out the likes of Blackie from "Hugo" and Cosmo from "Beginners". Uggie sure has been busy this award season from red carpets to press interviews he's a bonafide celebrity. Hollywood's awards season wraps tonight with the Academy Awards. Dog News Daily says Congrats and Good Luck to Uggie and cast of "The Artist" for all their success!

Best Dog in A Television Series Nominee Chunk is the resident dog at the Chelsea Lately show. Recently Chelsea mentioned Chunk's nomination on a recent episode of her show. Check out the video! Golden Collar Nominee Spartacus from E!'s Ice Loves Coco is up for Best Dog in A Reality Television Series. Spartacus stars alongside his owners Ice-T and Coco! The new season premieres on February 19, 2012. 

Fred As B-Dawg
Disney's Buddy movies are a family favorite. Our Golden Collar Nominee Fred, played buddy B-Dawg in the previous Buddy film, Spooky Buddies! Here's Fred dressed in his bunny costume. In Spooky Buddies B-Dawg and his talking puppy pals are on a spooky adventure! Even though Fred has grown, B-Dawg's character will live on in Disney's Treasure Buddies, which is available on Blu-ray/DVD tomorrow, January 31, 2012. Buddies director Robert Vince will also be receiving the Legends Award an honorary Golden Collar Award for his work on the buddy franchise. Congratulations to both!
